Schedule of Trading Sessions
Every trader should know the schedule of trading sessions. The ability to trade on the Forex market 24 hours a day is not synonymous with the need for it.
Forex trading sessions are intervals in which banks and financial institutions of a certain country or region actively carry out transactions on the foreign exchange market. This activity contributes to fluctuations in the liquidity and volatility of currencies, on the exchange rate difference of which traders earn.
The optimal time for transactions is periods of high market activity, when a significant number of traders open and close trading positions, which leads to an increase in trading volumes. As far as the forex market is concerned, it can be divided into four key trading sessions: the Sydney session, the Tokyo session, the London session and the New York session.

Best time to trade forex
Traders are generally advised to refrain from trading during times when only one trading session is active, instead waiting for moments where the sessions cross. Market activity increases significantly when two major financial centers are open at the same time, helping to increase the number of traders buying and selling currencies.
The highest volume of trading occurs during the period when the London and New York sessions overlap, with more than half of all trades occurring during this time.
